Living on a desolate farm in Ireland he leads a very sheltered life. After his father suddenly passes away, Donal hires a female escort so that he can lose his virginity. After engaging in a strictly sexual encounter with his new female friend, their relationship soon progresses into a lusty romance, then to a business enterprise between two partners, providing each other with a sense of love and belonging that neither of them had ever experienced before.
