Only actor in 4 films in the same year and they were all Oscar nominees?

... an honor shared only with Benedict Cumberbatch? Wrong! Guys, you should brush up on your Oscar history. Just off the top of my head, Thomas Mitchell was in 5 films that received Oscar nominations in 1939: Gone With the Wind, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Stagecoach, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and Only Angels Have Wings.

This had to do with the Studio System and with supporting actors doing so many films in one year, but, hey, a record's a record. I'm sure there are many others with 4 films. I'll look into it. Any contributions are welcome.
