They should have used this...

Because it looks like Depp wasn't the first one she abused... this one she was even arrested and had her mug shot taken for... why anyone gives her any credibility is baffling.

reply

Looks more like it was an argument that got out of hand according to the other girl.

reply

Bottom line is she was arrested... whether she paid off the other girl or threatened her to get her to drop the charges isn't the point. The police arrived and saw enough evidence to arrest her, something that didn't happen when they saw her magically moving bruise she claimed was from Depp.

Doesn't sound like a threat to me:
Van Ree, however, says Heard was "wrongfully" accused and the incident was blown out of proportion. In a statement issued by Heard's publicist Wednesday, van Ree said two cops "misinterpreted and over-sensationalized" the incident.

"I (recall) hints of misogynistic attitudes toward us which later appeared to be homophobic when they found out we were domestic partners and not just 'friends,' " the statement said. "It's disheartening that Amber's integrity and story are being questioned yet again. Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her. We shared 5 wonderful years together and remain close to this day.”

reply

And if you paid enough money to someone you could get them to say anything. The police wouldn't have charged her if the partner at the time hadn't indicated that she was in fact abused. I had some idiot break into my car, but I can guarantee that if the thief offered me 100,000 to say I was invited to tear open the glove box and rip out the radio I would do it.

reply

Paying hush money is what Johnny Depp does!

reply

Maybe he does. But there has been no proof of it. There is proof of Amber's past domestic abuse from a prior police report, and now we are seeing that she was violent in the marriage to Depp as well from the voice recordings. You can believe in the Easter Bunny if you want, but it doesn't make him real.

reply

There is proof of Johnny Depp's violence. He punches coworkers. The trial is set for May this year, because being an abusive, drugged-out fuckhead isn't tolerated by normal people in society such as Mr. Brooks and Ms. Heard.

What is the "proof" of Amber's past domestic abuse that you speak of? The situation where the alleged victim said that she loves and supports Amber Heard, and that the police were homophobic and over-reacted by arresting her?

This is all you people have? 😂

Not-so-smart people say that Johnny Depp isn't an abuser because Vanessa Paradis said so. Do you not see the glaring double standard here? If the statements of Johnny Depp's past lovers are "proof" that he not a drugged out abusive monster, then Van Ree's words ARE ALSO PROOF THAT AMBER HEARD IS INNOCENT. See how Johnny Depp supporter logic works? It can absolve people of anything! 😂😂😂

reply

A domestic abuser doesn't have an off-on switch, if Depp was abusive to Amber there would be a list of other past girlfriends that would have experienced the abuse as well. Not just Paradis, but you would expect to hear he was abusive to Winona Ryder, Jennifer Grey, Sherilyn Finn or his first wife the make-up artist. Yet none popped up to tell the world he was abusive.

As for Amber, the police arrested her because when they got there they saw the marks on the victim that indicated domestic violence had already happened. Police policy was followed and she was arrested, did the victim say but nothing happened? Yes. It is often the case that the abused will claim that nothing happened because of their emotional attachment to the abuser. Which also explains why Depp didn't have Amber arrested the first time he experienced the psycho nut job going ballistic.

reply

Not true at all. They could have a perfectly normal with one person and violent with another. Doesn't make it right, just that it does happen.

reply

There is an avenue where this could actually be true.

This is a full investigation

She's abused other guys too before Depp. Depp also has 2 ex wives standing by him that he never once lifted his hand to them, even despite being a drunk. Now who you gonna believe? Some fame hungry bitch who has abused guys before, or someone who has been married to Depp for around 2 decades? I know who I believe.

reply

Hollywood will need to see the total loss from films like Birds of Prey before they go and change Aquaman.
