I don't know about everyone else but personally I miss the old Jackson. The Jackson before he was hair trimmed and had a personal stylist, before the ego kicked in and he started to believe his poo didn't stink. It truly saddens me to even see a picture of him now! I saw him play a show before mtv and the 100 Monkeys were even known about and that was a man with a beautiful soul. I just wondered if anyone noticed or agrees or disagrees......
This was a hard post to reply to, but at this point I can neither agree nor disagree.
When Twilight and 100 Monkeys were still around, Jackson was in demand for many interviews. Even Ben J, Ben G, Jerad, and Uncle answered questions about their band, fans, and personal lives. We got to see them live and chat with them after the performances (most of the time). If you could not make the performances, you were able to read about what happened on forums and FB and see vids on youtube. And suddenly that all changed and we saw the turmoil that comes when a group cannot agree on critical issues. No more interviews, and slowly no more personal contact. Everyone went off in different directions and are pursuing their individual careers.
So it is not that I miss the old Jackson, I miss the group being friends with each other. I miss not being able to see them live or read posts on forums and FB about others who got to meet them. I miss the interviews where they talk about their interests, next project(s), etc.
I was able to take in the last couple of Spencer Bell Legacy concerts and drive to shows to see Ben J with The Kissing Club when they went on tour. At all these events the band members mingled with the attendees. I went to the party held for the DVD release of Girlfriend. I got there late and at that event Jackson seemed distracted and did not appear to want to talk to people...maybe something was up at home? I was also lucky enough to see Scott, Jerad, Uncle, Ben J, and Jackson at the charity concert held by Indie Music Cares, Jackson was very friendly there and talked to those who attended... was very happy to chat about his son and what was going on in his life. So Jackson was aloof one time and friendly the next time which is why I can neither agree nor disagree. I would need to know why he did not interact with people at the Girlfriend event and did at the charity event.
Do you think what made you say he has a beautiful soul were his answers from the interviews? What specific changes made you decide he was different?
