Shades of Greyston

Don't know why Greyston was not ever considered for the 50 Shades of Grey movies. Too late now I know, but saw a picture of Greyston in a suit with no beard and shorter hair and I have to say he oozed much more sex appeal and masculinity than the actor who does the 50 Shades movies. (and of course there is the pun of Greyston's name.) Anyone else think he would have been great in the movie role?
