Sounds like

Sounds like Aaron Eckhart. Looks a little bit like him too.

reply

Ah, no. Nope. Nada. Nein. No dice.

Look alike? Sound alike?

Ben is British. He has dark hair and jet eyes.
Eckhart is blonde, blue-eyed and American.
Eckhart is 13 years older and looks it.

Aside from both being male...the similarities end there.

Are you sure you're posting in the right forum?

I hate how everyone has to compare one actor to another
on all of these message boards. Unless they are are almost identical, like Harry Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem, I don't want to hear about it.

reply

I assume you mean Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

I never said they are identical twins. Apparently I should have specified that the tone of voice is similar and that their facial characteristics are somewhat alike.

A person's voice still sounds the same whether they are speaking with a Russian accent or a Brooklyn accent.

Hair and eye color doesn't change what someone's face looks like.

reply

Again, I'm not understanding your comparison.

Ben's natural voice is British, therefore, he sounds NOTHING like American actor Eckhardt. When he adopts an American accent, his intonation completely changes, BTW. No, it doesn't sound the same. The pitch is actually lower. Take a listen to his interviews.

Hair and eye color completely change appearance, but not bone structure. Even their body types are different!

Visually, the only thing I can possibly draw a comparison to is that they both have a cleft chin, but not even the same shape at that. Eckhart's face is broad and rugged; Ben's longer and leaner. I can't even see these two vying for the same roles. Eckhart is 14 years older and fair; Ben's look is more dark and brooding. He eyes are, perhaps, one of his most distinguishing features, although I could wax poetic on others.
