Westworld

I've been a fan of his since his Prince Caspian days. I was looking forward to him being on this show but it's too bad that he plays an unlikable dick with no redeeming qualities. I actually think he should have swapped roles with the blond guy because he can play that type of part really well too. But since this is what we're stuck with I hope they make his character more dynamic and less like a Dorian Gray rehash.

I'm a huge fan of his. I think the fact that he got the role of Logan is refreshing and probably exciting to him. I don't think this role is much like Dorian Gray at all. Dorian was a sweet kid who became evil but Logan is just a dick in general. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Figure I'd post it here, too...

By that statement, you're essentially validating Ben's prowess as an actor. And, he's phenomenal, yes. When you love to hate a character based on a one-hour performance, I'd say that's a pretty good litmus test.

He's not a prince and watching him typecast as the hero with a conscience would tire anyone. Does he make good orgy material? Hell, yeah! Dorian Gray's not the first character he's played with a flawed moral compass and with his casting in Westworld AND The Punisher, you can be assured that it won't be his last.

He's also played a con artist, a soldier, a greiving writer, a cheating husband, a mama's boy, a conflicted mafioso and a misguided rock journalist/rocker wannabe and a musically inclined drifter, among other roles.

Just like any long-term relationship, an actor needs to keeps things interesting for himself and his audience.

Oh I think he's a good actor which is why I'm a fan. It's just that I haven't seen him in a while. I don't always like the goody two shoes and Gary Stu's. I think bad guys have their place. I just hope they give him a bit more and that he becomes a little more interesting. I feel like since he has more of a supporting role there's a chance they'll keep him more one-dimensional.

You haven't seen "Sons of Liberty," "Jackie & Ryan" or "Seventh Son?" All came out last year and are avail. on-demand, DVD and iTunes. He's also the new face of Ferragamo's Uomo. That was a pretty impressive campaign.

I've only seen Seventh Son. And that wasn't that great of a film for anybody involved, lol. Honestly with so much talent there they all deserved a better script. I'll check out the other two though.

"Jackie & Ryan" Two words. HE SINGS.

As for "Sons of Liberty," The History Channel threw a lot of weight around this miniseries with an interactive website, social media campaign and print, TV and billboard ads. It also has a stellar cast.
