She exploited her looks + gamers and moved into acting

I don't like her acting at all but you have to give her credit ... despite knowing nothing about video games, she used her vaguely Asian-ish good looks to work uber nerds into a lather and then used her popularity with that ridiculously loyal fanbase to transition into acting in TV and movies.

She's hot. She knew how to work it for maximum effect with the loudest crowd on the internet. She succeeded.

Due to the lack of moderators, trolls can ruin the IMDB message boards. Don't feed them.

i think she did the right thing to exploit video game nerds, get HUGE attention and then branch out into Hollywood.

Ditch diggers exploit their muscles.

She also announced she was posing in Playboy which got all her fans excited.

Then she gives them a big F you! by not taking her clothes off. The images were no different from a Maxim or FHM pictorial.

And that pissed off a lot of fans which kicked off the hatred toward her.

I don’t understand why PB wasted time and money on someone who wouldn’t strip naked.
