I hope with all my heart that Robert Sheehan fails spectacularly...

It is one thing to leave the show. It is another thing entirely to leave without saying goodbye. I mean, could he at least do a simple death scene for the third series?! Since Nathan dumped his immortality it would at least make some kind of sense for him to be crushed by a milk van or something (if the character has to die he should go in a silly, sad way). But nooooo...apparently Sheehan's too busy doing...I'm sorry, what is he doing that's so great?!? Besides a Nic Cage movie and a Bono biopic.

At least (Being Human spoilers???) Aidan Turner gets to work with Peter Jackson and a fantastic cast in New Zealand. At least his character got a satisfying conclusion. At least he has some respect for the cast, the crew, the fans...

I hope that Sheehan fails at everything he attempts from this point on. Seriously. Unless it turns out that none of this is his fault, he doesn't deserve success. And he won't ever achieve it acting the way he is...

Woah that's a little harsh mate

Yeah, it is harsh, but so is his behaviour...

That was exactly my reaction when I hear that he's not returning to Misfits. It's only the third series for the love of God. The first thing that I said when someone told me he's not coming back was, "He can go *beep* himself." I can honestly say that I'll probably never see anything he's in because I just can't get over that he's probably ruining the best show out there right now. I know it's completely mean-spirited but I can't help wanting his career to crash and burn.

Yes, he can. Thank you. My thoughts exactly. I didn't even feel sad, the way that I did with Turner, because Sheehan hasn't let me feel sad. He hasn't given the fans a chance to say goodbye to Nathan. It's a dick move if I ever saw one...

He's acted like a twat (or so it seems. Unless there's something we don't know about) but eh, I'll still watch other stuff he's in. He's a great actor and hot as hell. Eh.

Grow up! He's got the chance to progress in a difficult profession and should go for it. I would love to see him in the next series of Misfits but he has to grab the oportunities when they present themselves.

I think that you should address that to Mr Sheehan Maturity involves thinking of others before you act and not just doing things because they benefit you. I can live with him abandoning ship (the aforementioned Aidan Turner did so, and Steve Carell is leaving The Office) but you better have a very strong lifeboat ready...

And I do not believe he does, which makes his departure all the more nonsensical...
