It's an interesting HORROR STORY.

Alexander was a BRAT in VIKINGS. And his brother Ubbe was a nice guy who married the girl that Alex had DISCARDED and then he also raised his kids for him.

Therefore the reason why I'd chose him over Alex. Plus Ubbe also looked more like RAGNAR than his older half brother did (who may also really have been the offspring of ROLLO).
