Regarding his age

Holy *beep* I cant believe he is forty.

I was really rooting for him to become the next big thing thinking he is in his twenties.

Even the interview after he got the part in 42 he was telling Jay Leno or somebody that how excited he was and I am pretty sure he said something along the lines that before the movie he was just in school or something. I really thought he was in his twenties and thought he can be the next Denzel after seeing his performances.

He can still be a good lead but I was hoping he could build up. Now he has few years before he start to lose his looks. I mean it happened to Clooney and many other actors too.

As it takes time they usually got recognition close to their forties.

Still for sure he got great genes. Look at Denzel he is still rocking it :)

Had similar thoughts a couple years back. But this is what happens when Hollywood is never looking for the next leading black men. Careers go nowhere or take too long to lift off. Hell he didn't even get the opportunities that Zendala has gotten off the bat. Still I think he has a good ten years ahead of him.

Yes but actors who build a career on their looks tend to have a short one! I have just looked him up as watching Get on Up. Strikes me as a sensible man, he has a full career ahead of him doing what he wants to do, being selective and choosing good projects and if so making some money to fund them and enable him to live as he chooses along the way, a bit of mainstream, a bit of indie etc. Will be looking out for him in future.

Don't be late, don't hesitate, this dream can pass just as fast as lightning.
