Name Change

No clue, but who actually changes the stuff anyways? is it the actual person, in this case Danneel or is it someone else?

What I'd like to know is why hasn't someone changed Genevieve Cortese's last name to Padalecki yet? She's using that name now.

Is she though, or was it just for the episode? Because on Getty Images they have Danneel clearly labelled as Ackles and yet Gen is Cortese - presumably they check names for credit. And I'm sure her agent or whoever would have changed it on here before now.

Somebody asked Danneel about the name change via Twitter and she tweeted that IMDB changed her name themselves because she had changed her name on her SAG card. So it may be that Gen hasn't changed her SAG card yet.

Possibly, but I would have thought when asked for her name (whether that be Gen herself or someone in her PR) at Paley Fest the answer would have been Padalecki, and it wasn't - it's Cortese. I know Gen has changed her personal name, but I'm not convinced her professional name has changed.

I've heard that Gen used Padalecki for that episode, but hasn't really changed her name professionally yet. It was just used because she was playing herself in The French Mistake instead of when she played Ruby.
