Well, that's certainly just you for the most part as I am 27 years old and the entire time I saw Crystal Reed on teen wolf my friends and I thought she was about 19-21 and even now she still looks about 20-21. As for Holland, she does look a little bit older and more her age than Crystal even though she's slightly younger. Holland to me looked 21 at the start and looks about 23 or 24 now. But I do know what you mean as a quarter of 20 somethings look older than their age and so when the other half do look their age, we forget that a 20 something should still look young and fresh. Too many people go outside without sunscreen, do so much damage to their skin and look a whole lot older than their age. I have a friend who is younger than me and only 21 and many people think she's close to 40. Her skin is horrendous but most likely aging horribly from the sun as she started developing crows feet at 17 years old.
I love those who claim it's make up that makes people look younger when make up actually makes you look older most of the time. The only thing make-up can do for those whose signs of aging or more noticeable is hide wrinkles. And you won't find wrinkles or obvious signs of aging on a 20 something, so make up doesn't change how young they look.
You're acting like they look 20 years younger than their age when it's not that much of a difference. They're playing mid-late teens in teen wolf when they're in their mid-late twenties. That's about 10 years, not much of a difference. But how many high schoolers look their age? Most use make up to look older nowadays and at my job, I see a lot of teenagers who I mistake for 20 or 30 year olds. Like I said, it's really difficult to tell when someone is in their teens, twenties or even thirties. I know of two teens who are 15 and 17 and both look like they're in their mid twenties and they look older than me. When I go out without make-up, people think I'm 16, no lie. With make-up I look 22 oldest, so make up ages you, for the most part. A lot of people with baby faces use it to make themselves look older, not younger.
