saw the guy walking with his gf or w.e and im 6 feet. I had 3 inches on the guy hes 5 feet 9 for sure. Why do actors lie their heights?

Ego. Tom Cruise is small (5'6") and he never discusses it. Also, so he would appear taller, his wives couldn't wear high heels and had to walk behind him. Rob Lowe is short too. Saw him in person once and he wasn't much taller than me--and I'm 5'6"!
