Poor kid. That kid will definetly learn to despise that name once he gets into grade school.

By itself, it's just...well, unique. But add his last name, or initial and you've got Lion-O, my favorite Thundercat. HOWEVER, I'm sure this kid will be Gorgeous, and doubtful it will matter much!

I like it. Its a great name.

Didn't mean to be offensive, if you took it that way. I'm a fan of people who aren't afraid to be different. The name is definitely unique, and no one has to like it except Alex and Malia. I'm a nobody, just making an observation. I love Alex and Malia, and I'm so happy for them!!! Hope there are wedding bells and more babies in the future!

Wouldn't his initials be LOL?! ;-)

A helluva tongue twister. Lion O'Loughlin. Even if he's called after mummy too, Lion Jones O'Loughlin isn't easy to say. The trouble for me - assuming it's said like the big cat - it sounds too much like 'lying' or 'lie on' - both of which might make him in for some name-calling at school.

A mite unusual but I love originality. It's good and strong. And to his mum and dad now, that's all the little chappie was ever called. :-)))) They still must be beaming!

Be interesting to know what that Hawaiian middle-name is that Alex said they'd chose.

Katie093, I noticed you have been spreading some speculations and negative opinions on Alex lifestyle, his work, his relationship with Malia and now you rant about his son's name. It's none of your business how they called their son, so just give it a break will you?
