Her Blindpots Tatts & cranky set behavior..

On Friday, Page Six had an interesting item about Jaimie Alexander, the star of NBC’s Blindspot. You may also known Jaimie from the Thor movies, or maybe you know her from her engagement to Peter Facinelli. Anyway, Page Six said last Friday that Jaimie is being a major pill on the set of Blindspot, that she’s getting people fired right and left and she’s trying to get her co-lead, Sullivan Stapleton, fired. She’s also pretty cranky because it apparently takes SEVEN HOURS to apply her character’s tattoos (which cover almost all of her body). Well, here’s another interesting story about Jaimie, again from Page Six. Their sources claim that Jaimie is convinced that her fake body tattoos are making her sick. Huh.

Production on the show was halted last week with the firing of four makeup artists who were spending seven hours each day applying Alexander’s temporary ink. A hairdresser was also let go.
Suffering a pulmonary infection, the actress brought her doctor onto the Brooklyn set where Warner Bros. is midway through shooting the first season. NBC has already renewed the drama for Season 2.

Tat’s not all. Alexander is said to hate her co-star Sullivan Stapleton, who plays FBI agent Kurt Weller. “She tried to have him fired and replaced, which is pretty amazing considering their characters are supposed to develop a romantic interest,” said my source.

NO Not Sullivan!
Anyway her PR person seems like they are right off the farm saying things like that don't happen-hmmm ok

That is actually quite disturbing and I didn't expect that at all because they seem to work well together.

IF indeed she has a pulmonary Infection, it is extremely serious. Her health and possibly her life could be in danger. I wouldn't be surprised if her doctor was accompanied by a lawyer.

From the book 'Pulmonary Infection' edited by Dr. Amer Amal:

"Pulmonary infections are notorious in causing considerable morbidity and mortality."

I have sooo many questions
It WAS in the script tho
Is she naked the entire show?

If not I call BS on the 7 hours everyday in makeup.

Its an hour per week long procedural. How much time is she onscreen ?

Can't they use pre-printed stockings for long shots?

Sullivan had to have them put on for the movie Animal Crossing as did Charlie Humman on SOA-every person's chemistry is different but don't they have this down to a science yet?
Henna is pretty benign

or is it...
As I suspect someone is just too big for their britches and will cause trouble until everyone submits to her will.? Dunno

Remember the people she got fired had families that relied on that money-that would bother me at night I couldn't be responsible for anyone who was working and giving their all fired and it sounds like these allegedly were wrongful term nations non?

She picked her profession/job. I'll save my sympathy for coal miners, dry cleaners, soldiers who were lied to about chemicals and came down with pulmonary infections.

Well spending SEVEN HOURS in makeup every day and THEN you go to work would drive almost anyone crazy, so I'm a bit more sympathetic to her being cranky than most actors. It takes a LOT out of an actor to endure that all the time.

Also they shouldn't mock her feeling that the tats are making her sick. She may very well have some sort of allergic reaction that's rare.

Also, PLOT wise, I always wondered why the FBI allowed Jane to go out in public with her tats in plain view. After they SCANNED all of the artwork into their computers and could access them at any time, you'd think they'd ask her to cover her ink, just in case any bad guys 'in the know' saw them and recognized them. Who knows what the mystery is behind her tats, and yet she's going all over town with at least the ones on her neck, collar, wrists and sometimes midriff, visible. In one episode she 'covered' them with makeup (actually they just didn't put them on).... But the viewing public doesn't want logic. I believe viewers would think it was weird for her to cover the tats all of a sudden, even though strategically that would make the most sense.

Dr. Kila Marr was right. Kill the Crystalline Entity.

Yea cause it totally wasn't in the script before she signed on and I am sure she only gets $7.25 minimum wage for sitting for 7 hours

You're hilarious, but it's obvious you know pretty much NOTHING about how the industry works. Lots of times, you get surprised by what happens and the extent of that, even after it's explained to you. Brent Spiner was suffering with all that makeup for Commander Data on Star Trek. Sure he suffered through it, but long hours in makeup and then you pull a full day with all the other actors and then you stay past everyone else for makeup removal .... is a serious pain.

...and of course Page Six has always been the most trustworthy source of such information.

That being said she does seem a little "high maintenance" for someone with so little talent. If she fired herself then we could truly have a great tvshow.
