It's nice to see someone like Margot Robbie host tonight and she deserves it! She is no doubt a likeable, one of a kind actress even in something like Focus! Some would say she was the biggest star of this Summer while I would argue that Harley Quinn was bigger then Robbie! Nevertheless someone who is only a few years younger then Robbie, appears to have more range and has had an even longer career starting to grow a profile in her childhood should have hosted Saturday Night Live by this point! I could see her doing some Millenial ripping sketch, spoofing Trumps youngest daughter or maybe doing one of those SoCal bits!.

I'm guessing "Saoirse Ronan" was meant to be inserted after "Nevertheless...only a few years younger than Robbie,"

If not, then I will. Saoirse would always have been a bit of an esoteric choice, an Irish actress not known for many American films.

I had thought maybe after Brooklyn's success she might be on, but she was busy with The Crucible. She needs another film hit, at this point. But she would KILL on that show.

SNL is very much beneath her. She’s in a different stratosphere from this tired dreck.
