what happened to him?

The aging seems really sudden and he is looking very rough. Drugs? Drinking?

reply

He looks fine, just older.

The guy is pushing 40. He's not going to look the same forever

reply

Well, he is wrinkled and gray far beyond his age, IMO.
You are saying this like 40 is supposed to be "old", but to me it's the opposite - I think 38 is still quite young.
It's like, FFS, he isn't even 40 yet, and already looking this weathered.

reply

I don't think 40 is old. it's still relatively young. It's arguably the start of middle age, although I think mid 40's is the start...

Its's not uncommon to have some gray hair and fine lines by that age

reply

Pardon me but how old are you? We acquire character as we age, and it will show on our faces.

reply

I really cannot believe that I am the only one who thinks he looks a lot older than his age.

I'd say he looks around 47-48 now.

But whatever, it's not like it matters.

reply

His face is full of pimple holes. At a certain age, no makeup can hide it. Brad Pitt is the same, only he put on weight, so they don't show as much.

reply

Wtf is pimple holes? Gave me an image of locust holes *shudder*, those things make me want to scratch it, I dunno why.

reply

:D
Those are what is left after you have pimples, AKA zits. Basically - scars on your face.

reply

They are talking about acne scarring, not that I ever particularly noticed it on Chris Pine's face.

reply

I'm sure makeup can hide it. These aren't craters that would take months and tons to fill. But by now, who cares? Pine has been in dozens of movies. We either like him or we don't.

reply

Still a ridiculously good looking man, just ageing like most humans.

This is a non-retouched pic from last month:

You guys think he looks bad? Let's see your pics. lol

reply

Indeed.

reply

Have you seen him at the Golden Globes? He looks much worse in reality than on that pic.

Way too wrinkled and gray for someone who isn't even 40 yet.

He looks like life has been rough on him.

reply

Dude STFU.😂... you have no idea what you are talking about.. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

reply

an interview from Jan 22/2019 - I wonder if he has had some work done.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8qCeNMv8Cs

reply

It's not HD, really hard to tell anything from that video.

reply

Right, because it's not like I saw him recently or anything.

Or like he is on a show currently.

reply

He's still a ridiculously good looking man to me but it looks like he did a comb back with his hair at the Golden Globes and that's an aging style to me..Not flattering for any man.

But honestly, celebrities are humans, too..given to good days and bad days and heavy schedules that might sometimes wear them down and make them tired. They may not always look the same.
Otherwise I do not see this accelerated aging of which you speak.

I'm still on teamChris..
He's a babe.

reply

So who said that only young people can be good-looking? Witness Diane Lane, Sophia Loren, Paul Newman, Clint Eastwood. Even old age can be beautiful, with a patina of dignity, class and poise that youth hasn’t had time to master. Having said that, and making exceptions for genetics, a man who works out hard and is not predisposed to male-pattern baldness should have a full and healthy head of dark hair at 40. It has to do with keeping your blood flowing. You don’t see many 40ish bodybuilders going grey. He is good-looking, but he doesn’t look good for his age. His aging is not accelerated, it just hasn’t been properly combatted. We should fight it every freaking step of the way. Put it this way: though I’m not one of his fans, Tom Cruise is 55 years old. Put him next to Pine. Have them run a mile footrace. Admittedly, Tom must have made his personal trainer a multimillionaire, but you get my point. The human body will rust out before it will wear out.

reply

Combated? At his age there shouldn't be so much to combat yet.

reply

I didn’t say he had “a lot” to fight, but it’s never too soon to start. My friend, I have learned with the benefit of hindsight and time that it is a constant battle. Studies have found that the younger a person is when s/he embraces a fitness lifestyle, the more likely s/he is to maintain it and benefit from it. It becomes a habit, like brushing one’s teeth, or saving and investing for retirement. You really can’t start too soon, but it’s almost never too late to
start. Let’s forget about good looks—cosmetics—for a moment. The purpose of fitness is good health, of which physical appeal can be an ancillary benefit. Absent good health, a person MAY have a legacy to leave posterity, but not much else.

reply

To me he looks like an alcoholic.

reply

Are you his age? If not, you sound like a millennial who hasn't experienced it yet.

Btw, he looks about 5 - 8 years younger than he really does, despite his peppery hair which if he dyed he'd look 28 - 30 years old. If he loses his hair like his father then he'd definitely look 40ish.

reply

He really does NOT look younger than he is. When was the last time you even saw him? That is a preposterous thing to say in light of how he looked at the Golden Globes, or how he looks on I Am the Night.

Not a very clear photo, but shows enough: https://scontent-frx5-1.cdninstagram.com/vp/5aa0a80c3dd37785fcb08fc7ba468f9c/5CD040F6/t51.2885-15/e35/47691294_139260063740073_3639201603545825863_n.jpg?_nc_ht=scontent-frx5-1.cdninstagram.com

If you say that looks 30-33, you are blind.

reply

Grey hair can happen to teenagers. You obviously aren't the same age if you think grey hair equates to being unhealthy and "old".

Btw, here's a pic of Joe Mangeniello at age 36. I guess he's an Old Fart by this time (6 years ago) as well?

reply

Please, he looks like freaking Pierce Brosnan in that!
Like I said, you must be blind.

reply

and he's YOUNGER than Chris Pine is now, guess you're the one with hang up

reply

I was talking about Chris Pine in the photo I posted. He is starting to look almost like Pierce Brosnan in terms of age.

Someone at age [gasp] 38 shouldn't have quite that much character.

reply

George Clooney was 34 and going grey back in '94. But I digress, you have no clue what "old" looks like since you can't appreciate men who are about to turn 40 having grey hair.

reply

I wasn't just talking about his gray hair, but also the condition of his skin, and the sort of teary eyes - like I said above, to me he looks like an alcoholic, and he is definitely looking very rough for someone who is only 38.

reply

He looks like any other 38 year old I've seen. You think he drinks? There's no shock there. Most adults drink alcohol and party well into their 60s.

I'm sure he doesn't care either.

reply

You must lead a very rough life also if this looks normal to you for 38.

reply

Nope, you must lead a sheltered one if you're that judgmental and superficial.

reply

Oh, please.

So he didn't even want to have sex with her..?
She must not be much.
