Don't quite get her position......

She seems to be more the First Lady than the president's wife.

reply

She's supposed to be an adviser, but she doesn't know anything.

reply

I get that and I agree. Not to sound like an old lady.... even though I am, but she ought to be doing something within the realm of her experience and minding her babys.
What I don't get is that we seldom hear about the real First Lady!

I recall a reporter asking Ivanka if she would be acting as First Lady now..... this was right after her father had won. Her response?
"There is only one First Lady"
I guess you can take that any way you like......

reply

Show some respect for your first family you crybaby liberal. We won, you lost, get over it.

reply

Getting snippy with a post from a year ago while talking about something from a year and a half ago.

Who needs to get over something, again?

reply

I just found this thread you moron. Besides he should learn some respect, President Trump is his and your president and will be for at least the next 2 and a half years and you need to deal with it. I was quite happy with the election results, there is nothing that I need to get over.

Why don't you go back to your room and play with your Rey and Kylo Ren action figures and leave the adult conversations to those who know what they're talking about.

reply

Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm a conservative. There are plenty of conservatives who aren't crazy about the Trump regime who also hated the Obama regime ... actually, for many of the same reasons.

reply

I congratulate you, sir...or ma'am, as you seem to be a rare breed. It's good to hear that at least there are some remnants of Republicanism still existing who can put country over party. Almost everyone else seems to be goose-stepping for the President.

reply

Actually, a lot of big name Republicans aren't doing the goose-step. They aren't in the tribe that loathes, hates, abominates, and despises everything he does; the differentiate between what Ben Shapiro calls "Good Trump" and "Bad Trump." People like Jonah Goldberg and others at National Review, Erick Erickson of The Resurgent, George Will (who ripped Trump with the quip, "He has the advantage over me. He can say everything he knows in 140 characters or less"), and the aforementioned Shapiro, just to name a few. In Congress, my favorite is Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska. When he disagrees with Trump, he's not at all shy about saying so. I hope he primaries Trump in the 2020 election.

Some of the writers, granted, have left the GOP rather than be identified with Trump. That's true of most of us who don't march in lockstep. I'm now a registered Independent, but in my state, that means I have no voice in the primaries. Frustrating, but at least it gives me the freedom to look at Trump and say, "Not my monkey, not my circus."

reply

You stayed Republican through George Bush and his wars.

reply

You stayed Democrat through Obama and his wars.

reply

Um.....YOU didn’t win. Donald Trump and Mike Pence did.

Seriously....you don’t have any Presidential Powers.

Just felt that one needed to be cleared up.

reply

Hillary actually won by 3M votes.

reply

No one in the Trump circle deserves any respect, including you. Liars and thieves and braggarts for doing nothing but finding money they didn't earn. Absolute filth and an embarrassment to true Americans.

reply

I would welcome her in any 'position' 😉
