why is his career already over?

geez, hollywood gave him 5 years tops

reply

The last thing I saw him in was Logan Lucky. He seems to do a lot of voiceover work these days.

i think it was bad career decisions. he made a few really bad movie acting choices. magic mike and jupiter ascending. also, it's because he's incredibly bland. he has no charisma.

reply

Wasn’t Magic Mike fairly successful? I could take or leave it but it spawned a sequel and I remember it being quite a talking point.

I didn’t see Jupiter Ascending. He was okay in Foxcatcher but otherwise yeah, he has never really shone or demonstrated much star quality, for me at least/

reply

and you sound like a fan so that's pretty bad. if doesn't matter if it was successful, i mean it's a male stripper movie. it can't be good.

reply

If you think from my comments that I’m a fan, I’d love to see what you’d expect a non-fan to say!

I didn’t care for Magic Mike and I’ve never been impressed by Tatum, except marginally in one role, to reiterate.

reply

Steven Soderbergh directed Magic Mike.

>i mean it's a male stripper movie. it can't be good.

The Wrestler was about wrestling. Was good.

Spinal Tap was about a washed up rock band. Was good.

Black Swan was about a ballerina.

Clerks was a day in the lives of two convenience store clerks.

Roadhouse was about a bouncer in a dive bar in Bumblefck Nowhere.

What is your point exactly, other than making yourself look really dumb and closed minded.

reply

Agreed. Can't tell if the OP is trolling or not, but MM wasn't a bad film. It's not even really about male stripping. That's just the frame within which the real story is told.

reply

I jacked off to MM until my peepee hurt. No homo
