I found it incredibly annoying considering she is from Melbourne. She probably went there for a week and come back with an accent. I couldn't tell what the accent was meant to be, but couldn't even listen to her. She better not speak like that in the movie!

i knew that she had an accent already but i just don't know how she could've adapted it that fast unless she lived in england for a period of time that we don't know about.

it's annoying though because it sounds fake. she could be putting it on but that would be ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure that is her normal voice, and I think she talked like that in Sleepover Club. It says in the trivia section on this page that she is related to Stephen Fry and has English relatives, perhaps one of her parents spoke with an English accent and that's how she picked it up? Or perhaps she lived over there for a while when she was younger.

In any case, in Neighbors I'm pretty sure she put on an Australian accent and is likely to do the same for 'Tomorrow'. She spoke with an Aussie accent in the Tomorrow trailer anyway. It was Rachel Hurd-Wood who couldn't get the accent right in the trailer lol!
