MovieChat Forums > AnnaSophia Robb Discussion > AnnaSophia wears real fur?

Totally agree. There's really no reason to wear clothing derived from animals in modern America. That said, the use of natural fibres like cotton as alternatives to animal fur was a major reason why the institution of slavery continued in the US for far longer than it should have and resulted in the torture and death of millions of innocent people. Even now, cotton production in the East requires the use of slave and child labour. Most comforts come at a price.

Also, are you vegetarian/vegan? Because as I see it there is literally no reason why killing an animal to consume it is any more morally justifiable than killing it to wear its fur.

How do you know it's real? With the exception of the shoes, all the others seem like faux to me. "Fur" jackets, scarves, and vests are really in now, but 99% of the ones you see people wear are fake - because those are the affordable ones.

The full fur coat looks like she just did that for a shoot, not like she bought it. Others choose her wardrobe for those.

As for the other coat, it could be faux.

But I will say most top designers still use real fur so it can be hard to wear quality stuff without compromising some.

The shoes are stupid though and unnecessary.

Big *beep* deal.

So? I think I'll go skin an animal and make me coat right now, I'll take pics and send it to you, nice and warm, can't wait.

reply

I hope she did.

Say, do you hear that? It's the sound of the Reaper.....

reply

Eeeeewwwww! Yuck!!!! Anyone who slaughters an animal for ANY reason.. Food, fur, hunting, even if you hit it with your car by accident. Or even if it dies in the woods on property YOU own, or if you've ever LOOKed at an animal without a SMILE on your face AND in your heart... you should go to jail forever!!!! Animals are sacred. People are scum.

She gained herself a new fan. I just wish she would be chowing down on a nice fillet steak in one of these pictures.

reply

That's sexy.

I also wish she'd been cast as Veruca Salt in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which would have given her an opportunity to wear fur onscreen, albeit as a child.

reply

I totally agree, first one making sense here.
