Did you get SUCKJUTSU yet?

That's how one critic referred to the album (LOL).

Personally, I heard the first half and liked it for latter-day Maiden.

reply

Nope. I'm not sure I still qualify as a Maiden fan. I haven't liked anything they've done since Dance of Death.

reply

DANCE OF DEATH is easily the best since the reunion IMHO.

reply

It's a masterpiece. I still crank it regularly.

reply

I never again need to hear anything after SSOASS.

reply

Why are you calling the SEVENTH SON album "ASS." That's just rude and disrespectful!

reply

Pre ordered it along with the t-shirt!

Darkest Hour, Death of the Celts and Hell on Earth are the stand out tracks for me.

reply

Days of Future Past

reply

Yes I did get it and I like the title track, Stratego, Days Of Future Past, Time Machine, Death Of The Celts and Hell On Earth

reply

I have not got this one yet. Perhaps I shall. Nowadays, Maiden is as good or better instrumentally, but they just don't pop out as catchy of vocal tunes as they used to. Bruce just sort of sings a meandering story with less structure than the old days. Which is fine because it's friggen Bruce Dickinson, but I prefer the older style with them.

reply

Haven't listened to it yet. I am finding myself more of a fan of their classic work late 70's through 80's mostly. I know this album is different and they have gone back to epic length songs which can be a little hit and miss at times as they can get dull.

reply

It's pretty decent, sure it's no Powerslave or Number of the Beast but it's worth a listen.

reply

I'm starting to liking it , Senjutsu requires multiple listenings before you start to get the hang of it since many songs have a complex structure , i don't like every songs but my favs by far are : The Writing On The Wall , The Parchment and Hell On Earth.
