Raised a Baptist in Canada. Don't know if they are like American Evangelicals.

"I believe nobody should ever be forced to inject their body with anything, against their will," she began in the caption, before listing what she maintains are consequences to not getting the vaccine, including "violent attacks," loss of employment and education, "alienation from loved ones" and "excommunication from society."

She continued, "This is not the way. This is not safe. This is not healthy. This is not love. I understand the world is in fear, but I don't believe that answering fear with force will fix our problems."

Lilly, who shares two children with The Hobbit actor Norman Kali, added, "I was pro choice before COVID and I am still pro choice today," along with the hashtag #medicalfreedom.

Good for her.

She sticks to her guns at least which I respect. You can't pick and choose which pro-choice to be on. You're either for it or not. She's pro choice on abortion and pro-choice on vaccine mandates (not sure about masks). I guess the point is injecting stuff into your body.

reply

She's absolutely right.

reply

She's got balls

reply

Good for her. Opposing vaccine mandates is not the same thing as opposing vaccines, and it truly is amazing how many people seem to have lost the ability to make such a simple distinction. There are some people, especially ones who have contracted Covid and developed natural immunity, who have declined to take the vaccine, many on the advice of their doctors, because for them it's not necessary, and avoids the possible side effects the vaccine may have. Still others may not declined to take it for such enlightened or rational reasons, but since even vaccinated people can carry and transmit the disease, the only ones they are endangering are themselves. It's their decision.

reply

I sure hope she apologizes.

I believe nobody should ever be forced to sit or work next to a person with a seriously communicable, highly infectious disease, against their will, under threat of: violent attack, arrest or detention without trial, loss of employment, homelessness, starvation, loss of education, alienation from loved ones, excommunication from society under any threat whatsoever.
