One of those good Horror directors who doesn't have a cult of personality.

A lot of hoopla surrounds the current darlings of the genre namely Ari Aster, Robert Eggers and Jordan Peele. They're heavily praised but for me they've all done little to sit atop a lofty perch. Many others match their efforts...some people just have good P.R I guess.

Steven Kostanski (The Void, Leprechaun Returns, Psycho Goreman)
Leigh Whannell (Upgrade, The Invisible Man)
Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead, Don't Breathe)

Collet-Serra has now moved onto big budget Dwayne Johnson flicks such as Jungle Cruise and Black Adam. I wish him the best, a talented director.
