A series of unfortunate Britt Robertson films

Her mainstream entrance has been marred by flop after flop. will this seemingly unfortunate actress ever be redeemed?

reply

Nope. RIP. she sucks anyway.

She has charm and talent but good roles just aren't coming her way. Granted she's lucky to be working as much as she is, 99% of actors would love to have her career. I bring that up because we should keep perspective. The vast majority of working actors do not get lead roles in big movies or even small movies.

Britt Robertson's issue is indeed that her big coming out movie was an outright flop. Tomorrowland being a disappointment would have been fine but an outright flop just makes everyone involved look like a failure. And the Nicholas Sparks cowboy movie that came out the exact same year as Tomorrowland didn't do that great either. And she is still playing teenagers. I don't know where her career will go if she can't get out of that rut. Back to television maybe?

She reminds me of a Lily Collins, an actress that is being pushed but can't stop playing in outright flops. And no, her bought and paid for Golden Globe nomination will not help her. Rules Don't Apply was an embarrassing failure.

Robertson is going back to TV, maybe that will be better for her.

Oh I had no idea she was going back to television. Yes I think that's for the best. Television is amazing now so maybe her show will be a really good watch.

She was good in everything I saw of her. But her movie career fell short. Starting with the great performance she gave in Scream 4 opening, that was cut out, for no reason...
