She was married in 2001. Seriously.

I decided recently to obtain a membership at Ancestry.com to look up people in my family tree. Just for fun I looked up Diora's name (expecting nothing to come up) and was shocked by what I found.

According to Ancestry.com, Diora was married to a man named "Rodolfo Troncoso" in 2001. I'm confident this is true and accurate given Diora's name is so unique and she grew up in Southern Florida.

I took a screenshot of the result I came across. Here is it:

If this is true, then Diora got married at a very young age.

To add fuel to the fire, I Googled "Diora Baird Rodolfo Troncoso" and found this:

The link provides info and photos to a super low budget film they both appeared in in South Florida. Look for Diora in the trailer when the guy gets slapped in the face (to play the trailer you need to hit play, then pause, then let it buffer for about 30 minutes).

A Youtube search of Rodolfo showed me a clip of him playing guitar. This link below shows he still lives in South Florida as a guitarist and personal trainer of some sort:

I just wanted to pass this along as it was a completely unexpected but funny thing I learned this weekend.

Why does her being married surprise you?

Well if she was currently married I'd be really surprised, because she's never discussed it publicly, nor mentions it in her Twitter feed.

Obviously that isn't the case now. She was married many years ago, at a very young age, and for a brief period of time I'm guessing. My discovery was indeed pretty surprising, and something I felt other Diora fans would be interested in knowing.

I know of so many people who got married and divorced before they were even 22, and didn't even have pregnancies involved. That's what happens when society tells people the whole reason to exist is to meet "the one" and be mated for life.

She discussed marrying young a couple times... Most notably on her Loveline Appearances and on Howard Stern.
