When I read through this article, I almost felt like she has more things in common with Matt Murdock!
Unlike her character Elektra, Elodie didn't grow up in a life of privelage. Her Cambodian father migrated to France as a refugee (most of her father's family were massacred by the Khmer Rouge). Elodie's family lived in an impoverished part of Paris (her own version of Hell's Kitchen?). Her father encouraged her to take up martial arts to learn to defend herself in their neighbourhood! Working hard she actually studied to be a lawyer! (Like Matt), and only took up some acting jobs to help pay the bills (initially).
Crushes should be like Kleenex -- soft, strong, and disposable.
