Sounds like a sad story

I'm listening to a local morning radio show (Preston & Steve in Philly) and they were talking about her at length, so I googled her.

It sounds like her family had money problems and her mom forced her into acting and she grew to resent it, but kept doing it because she felt responsible for supporting the family. She also is embarrassed by her career. Doesn't like that she's known for a cheesy kids show.One of the hosts pointed out that his kids loved it and he has a lot of fond memories with his kids watching her shows. It's sad she is so ashamed of it.

Reminds me a bit of George Reeves. I remember watching that Ben Affleck movie and it was pretty sad seeing a guy resent a job that made so many people happy.
