BOND GIRL?? I don't see it, am I missing something or is she over-rated?

She's very pretty, but overrated. No doubt at the bottom of the Bond Girl list.

So cause she wasn't a slut and didn't do it with him she's not a bond girl?
When Craig took over as Bond the series as a whole took a turn into the a more "gritty" type of spy movie.

no more hokey inventions, no more obviously slutty girls, the whole concept that Bond was seeking revenge for something that happened in the previous movie is very different.

perhaps you don't like the direction the bond movies have taken, but you can't blame that all on her.

Yeah, how the hell can Strawberry Fields rank higher than her in the bond list? She had neither presence nor seductiveness, holy crap she was easier than kindergarten. "come help me find the... stationery". Camille is a modern-day Bond girl and too bad that's she's not in line with the other campy Bond sluts.

Easy, better body-by far. I know I didn't say anything about 'slutty' being a factor at all. Olga's body is really plain. Look at her in Hitman. Decent, but nothing special.

In terms of beauty she's obviously very beautiful but, as far as acting I'm left wanting WAY more from her. I was disappointed with her performance in Solace

Between the writing and her acting it seems Bond lost it's charm and sex appeal. Her mediocre performance killed the legacy of bond women and what can I say it was a real shrinker.

I think she has talent but, being a Bond women requires more than just Talent it takes PRESENCE. You need a bad ass femme fatale who can seduce her way out of anything. I think that actress from Munich that gets killed would have been better or a more action oriented actess who has brains beauty and that element of danger.

Olga just wasn't the Bond woman that movie needed and it left me wanting, and I am tired of hearing all the over-rated hype about how great she was because, I just don't see it. Do you agree with me or not? Enlighten me Please!

Yup, you're definitely missing something.

Look at all the reviews she gets, not by guys but by girls. They all look up to her and call her the best bond girl. Keep in mind these are girls! She's the modern day Bond girl and if you can't keep up with the times then too bad oldie. :p

I think you're looking at the old films through rose-tinted glasses. Even Barbara Bach wasn't any good as an actress. Ursula Andress was completely dubbed over!
