Killing Ragnar
If Travis's character King Ragnar is killed off the show "The Vikings" I will no longer watch. I like the other characters but he makes the show for me! He has taken that role and owns it.

shareRagnar is pretty much the anchor of the show, but other characters, especially Lagertha, have grown on me so much that I'd probably keep watching even if they did kill him off. I don't think they will, though, because I think too many people would stop watching.
shareThey are following actual historical events. So if that holds true, Ragnar won't be around much longer. Sorry.
shareTrue, I only give Ragnar another season or two until the next gen takes over

Actual historical events... yes and no. They take a boatload of liberties with historical accuracy in the series, but it's artistic license, so who knows what will happen.
shareBut kudos to the makeup and direction team who are ageing him so excellently.
I like his eldest and Lagertha also. But the young sons... way too "modern day" chitchat for my liking.
***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**
I think you're right. Too many people would stop watching Vikings if they kill off the main anchor of the show, Ragnar.
If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now.-Loki (Marvel's Avengers)
Here is the thing, the 'historical events' aren't really that accurate to begin with. A lot of the Viking history is mostly fictional stories since it can't be officially confirmed as true events.
