It will a challenge for Billy Lynn's box office

Just checked out the Release Schedule,find that have two commercial films will release around billy lynn,especially they are all commercial big film, "Doctor Strange" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them".

And I have looked many person's 2016 anticipate film ,even not including billy lynn, but basically 100 percents people anticipate Martin Scorsese's silence ..I can't believe it.

In addition,maybe the 2017 oscar ,we will see the scorsese and Lee fighting for the best director, just don't know if garrett have the chance Nominated for the leading actor, it will be a huge step for his career, cause joe alwyn as the newcomer have not the opportunity nominated usually.

Commercial films and prestige ones have different target audiences so don't worry about that. Reviews are way more important than numbers in this case, even though one usually implies on the other.

Scorsese drawing attention is undestandable, he is an iconic director, one of the greatest in history so each one of his films are listed as being the most anticipated of the year everytime he makes one. I'm a great fan and I also cannot wait for his films to come out, considering Hollywood is so ridiculously boring with all those childish popcorn blockbusters taking over the theaters.

Oscars are a tricky thing because they have nothing to do with the real quality of the film. That's a popularity contest and all those awards shows are made to boost box office numbers and create stars, it's not about great films or talented actors, it's about hype and buzz. Nevertheless it's obviously important for actors to get nominated because it gives them more clout to choose the best roles but I wouldn't be so worried about it now. I just want good reviews for both Lee and Garrett and they'll hopefully get it.

Opposite,I don't worry about the film's review, maybe you have seen many garrett's film ,you think it's good quality ,but the review is opposite，so you worried about it. Actually,I felt the best performance of him is in the Coen brother's Inside Llewyn Davis,even if a little driver role, it's impressive! Maybe it's the reason that why Lee choose him for Dime.And He is one of the Cannes Judge that year.

In fact,Actors in Ang Lee's film have different performance experience from their past films. Ang Lee is one of the few directors have the ability to guiding the actors, So maybe we could see the different garrett from the past films.It may helps him get more chose opportunity in the future acting,it's also why he don't like use popular movie star. And it's why I worried about his film's box office,After all, not every film he directed like life of pi, use a newcomer as the leading role,get a unexpected box office,so it's dangerous.

In adittion,compared The Revenant (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=daily&id=revenant.htm)and the brokeback mountain's early daily box office(http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=daily&id=brokebackmountain.htm) ,do you think the Revenant could recover its investments?Maybe the director cant sleep well these days.
