And I'll bet you think that the actress that plays "Ugly Betty" really looks like that too!

I think Eden Sher is a really cute girl and is a very talented actress (that's probably how she fooled you.)

Eden is really pretty, they make her look so much worse for the show.

Well, here goes:

A) That's a bit rude, dude.
B) She is purposely made up to look dowdy: bad clothes, braces.
C) While she may not be your cup of tea, she is FAR from ugly.

She has that Jenna Fischer (aka Pam from the Office) quality that the producuers obviously "ugly" her up for the show.

For you maybe. But at least she can make more expressions than the kids from Modern Family combined.

I agree with puzny 100%. It's Hollywood "People" , They make the ugly pretty and pretty ugly all the time, but Eden is very far from being called ugly. Even I did not realize how ugly some stars where until HD. I really like Sue an think Eden plays her parts well. But this is just an opion.
