I ship 'NicAlind'

I love the character that Claire Coffee plays in Grimm. I feel like she has been so misunderstood. First being used by Renard, then rejected by him and her mother when Nick destroyed her Hexenbeast (spelling?), and finally the conspiracy to take her baby away. All the 'bad' things that Adalind did were either out of loyalty or because someone hurt her.

She and Nick seem to belong together (NickAlind). Even in the pilot episode when Nick intended to ask Juliette to marry him and he came out of the jewelry store with the ring the first thing he did was notice Adalind (before she woged). So he was attracted to her from the start. I agree with the post from January 2015 that their is chemistry between them that is missing between him and Juliette. Adalind just seems sweeter than Juliette who seemed vindictive even before she became a Hexenbeast.

I really hope that in season 6 Nick doesn't get back with Juliette and that he and Adalind can get back together!

Yeah, I do too. As you mentioned, even way back in the very first episode, Nick took notice of Adalind (and yes, even *before* she ‘woged’). Honestly, that shot of her was the part which stood out to me the most when watching the trailer for the show. I thought, “Who is that?”.

I agree that she had bad stuff happen to her, which at least partially explained some of her actions later on (though I don’t think she was exactly ‘blameless’ either, it’s just that I could see things from her point of view and therefore understood why she did...what she did). Way back when Nick took Adalind’s ‘Hexenbiest’ from her, to me it felt a bit iffy/sort of like a ‘violation’ of her in a way. Especially with how she reacted to it after it had happened. Yes, I get he was fighting her and it was the only way to weaken her, but I always remember how she reacted to that event, so when she later slept with Nick in Juliette’s form and took away his ‘Grimmness’...I always saw that as Adalind (in her mind) getting Nick ‘back’ for what he’d done to her in the past (not to mention the baby thievery - though, yes, I do get that they did that for the child’s safety/well-being...but still, I could understand Adalind’s anger).

I do think Claire Coffee has a more interesting chemistry with David Giuntoli than Bitsie Tulloch does. We just started Season 5 on TV here last week (yes, we’re WAY behind with the show where I am), and just in the brief scene/s Adalind shared with Nick, I got more from them than I ever really did from Nick and Juliette (though I never ‘hated’ her character as such - at least not until the end of Season 4 anyway - I just always found Adalind so much more interesting/intriguing).

I have spoiled myself somewhat and know that Nick and Adalind more or less do get together - though I don't know the details. Every season I’ve held out hope that Adalind’s character would survive (despite the haters wanting her gone). I’m glad she has survived this long. I just hope she makes it to the series final (which I likely won’t be seeing for another year or so where I am) and survives that as well. Personally, I think that such a great character (with the awesome name of Adalind Schade, played by an actress with the equally awesome name of Claire Coffee) deserves to survive the series, since she was the main reason I watched after all.
