I figure more the merrier-- so long as you're cool with each other, whoever gets the gig, gets paid! So sure, if you think you can get us some work, LET'S DO IT!!! xx Naomi

Look forward to seeing the deal!

4/10, 12:09am

Facebook User
Sorry, I was away from my planner. Zack already got me an offer from them (odd they wouldn't remember!), though I had to pass for Alamo City Comic Con that same weekend! For my own edification though, what was the deal they offered? I'd be curious (and more inclined to re-nig) if it were better than the deal they offered Zack, and/or better than that of Alamo City...

4/10, 12:10am

Facebook User
Btw, that's 9/26-28 in WV, correct?

April 10, 2014

4/10, 8:36pm

Timothy Beal
yes it is. Let me know what Alamo is offering you?? I am going to go ahead and send the agreement to you for Shock A Con. However Let me know where we need to negotiate from there with the promoter and I will proceed. THX

4/10, 10:06pm

Facebook User
Well, since I already said no, I'm not likely to change my mind. Especially since I understand Alamo is amazing, and well worth the sacrifice. But thank you! I just think it's curious they'd forget... Or thought I'd forget... Or work re: the same client but with different agents. Oh well, thanks anyway!

I wrote: Hi Tim,
Hmmmm. These offers are low, but then they're for brief periods of time. Think there's any wiggle room?
As of now, I'm available for both. However, I would need a clause in the contract admonishing me from any responsibilities in the event that I'm shooting.
I look forward to hearing back from you on this. Thanks!

Timothy Beal
Naomi, I hope all is well?? Promoters understand that film and commercial bookings always trump convention bookings. Of course I can have them put a clause in there stating that. The California show is a second time show in Sacramento, so being a California based show I feel that a guarantee of $1,500 is a good offer. My client C Thomas Howell would be doing the show with you.. Regarding the Connecticut show in August, this is a first time show and I originally pushed for a guarantee of $1,500 which they couldn't do. I said to the promoter to give me their best offer and they came back with a Guarantee of $500, to which I reworked the deal and got it up to a Guarantee of $750. Which is Max for their budget and it is only a one day show. I will also be having Jennifer Lynn Warren there with you

4/29, 5:15pm

Facebook User
OK. Thanks for the detailed reply. It all makes sense. The California Con (they're NEVER as good), the one-day deal… I totally get it. Although between us, I have some excellent, super-secret career news which will only make a bigger draw as the year goes on. ;) But ok, let's do it! And yes, I know what you mean about it being "understood" that I'd be released for film and tv bookings, but still. I'd rather be super-clear, as a half-way anticipate my good career news being a potential conflict. But you don't need to tell the cons that-- we'll cross that bridge if/when we get there. Now why can't I email you?! We must find a solution!

4/29, 5:29pm

Timothy Beal
Great hearing from you. I am having a tech fix my email at the moment. But for now, you can email me at [email protected] .. I will add the clause of if you are booked on a film or commercial that takes priority over a convention appearance. And will shoot the revised agreements to you this evening. If you can then sign and return both contracts that would be excellent. And you can always reach me at 818-259-8375

4/29, 5:29pm

Timothy Beal
THX . Looking forward to working with you. -Tim

4/29, 5:41pm

Facebook User
Sounds great. And, in case I'm shooting somewhere other than LA, you might amend that as well. Something like "Roundtrip flight from LAX or NOLA, depending upon her location." (That would apply to the CT con only-- I don't where I'll be in March-- though LA is obviously a likely guess!)

4/29, 5:43pm

Facebook User
And yes, will send those over right away. Can either email them to that new address, or fax if you still have one of those.

4/29, 5:49pm

Facebook User
Maybe something just nondescript, like "flight to/from LAX, or the guest's location depending upon her shooting schedule" (within reason, obviously). Don't worry-- no current plans to shoot abroad!

Also, while we're splitting hairs, fixing things, I see Waterbury is relatively close to NYC. I might try to squeeze in a visit and/or some biz there before or after… In which case, a less detailed description without exact travel dates would be better. If you don't mind!

4/29, 6:00pm

Timothy Beal
Got it. No worries. You are in good hands

4/29, 6:04pm

Facebook User
Also the $50 food & ground allowance on the Sacramento contract isn't real clear… It's not a 4 day con, yet it totals $200? How? I'd just say, "$200 total per diem for entire event."

Sorry, you didn't know what a little stickler I am! I've just found myself in sticky situations because of unclear contracts. So I like to be REALLY CLEAR. Thanks!

April 30, 2014

4/30, 11:44am

Facebook User
Hey, let me know when you've sent those new contracts over… (I know you said to send them back last night, though I haven't seen anything.) I'll have those back to you as soon as I get them!

4/30, 2:06pm

Timothy Beal
Naomi, I hope all is well??

I just resent you the revised Agreements for CT HorrorFest and Twisted Horror . Let me know if you have any questions?? If all looks good, please sign and return both agreements to me. THX

4/30, 3:07pm

Facebook User
Will do today!

PS how do you want to send that $375? Send check? Cash in person? PayPal? Square register? Let me know!

4/30, 3:18pm

Timothy Beal
I can have the promoter send you a check. Let me know who to make it out to and where to send it. Looking forward to booking many jobs together. I will be back in Cali soon again, as soon as I wrap this film here in NYC. Then we can meet up .

4/30, 3:25pm

Facebook User
Great! He can make it out to me, Naomi Grossman, and send to 5875 Packard St. #9; LA, CA 90019. Thanks! I look forward to meeting you/working with you more!

6/18, 7:04pm

Timothy Beal
How are you

6/18, 8:00pm

Facebook User
FYI: My email to Christine I cc'd you on bounced back. ???

Here it is:

6/18, 8:00pm

Facebook User
Hi Christine,
Your message was quite timely! I finally got some preliminary AHS shoot dates on Friday, though the ink wasn't dry until just yesterday... I didn't want to make any false moves or jinx it till it was.
Now for the bad news. Basically, I am definitely in the episodes shooting in August. However, that's not to say I will NECESSARILY be shooting on the day of your event, or even the week prior when I was planning to be in NYC. From what I understand, the witches from last season used to fly back and forth whenever there were long stretches when they weren't working. So, depending on the schedule THAT WEEK, I may or may not be free; though in general, August is problematic.
So it's really just up to you as to how you want to deal with this:
You're obviously very on-top-of-things! So if the loosey-goosey/spotaneous/wait-n-see way is not for you, I completely understand. I will refund your check for $375, and hopefully you purchased a refundable ticket as I suggested.
OR
If you're willing to hang in there on the off-chance it works out, cool. I will let you know THE SECOND I know the character breakdown for that week, and we can proceed accordingly.
It really just depends on what you're comfortable with. I support and respect your decision either way.
While this may not be good news for us THIS year, it is in the long run! The show and I will only get more popular with the increased exposure, and you have me on speed-dial should you want to try this again another time. I do hope this hasn't messed you up too much-- though it is, as you know, a hazard of the job. And as hazards go, it's not so bad ;)
Thank you again for understanding. I look forward to your response.
Best,
Naomi Grossman

I am very excited for you, Congratulations once again. You deserve it. This is very good news for us as well

BEEN ON HIS SITE EVER SINCE

REASON Timothy no longer represents Naomi . Timothy Booked her on Morbius Corpus con in Corpus Christy TX back in June . The Promoter Daniel Vasquez failed to make good on Naomi's Guarantee . Timothy's deal was he get paid his ten percent ON TOP of Naomi's Guarantee and when Timothy was paid in full by the Promoter and the Promoter stiffed Naomi , Naomi was pissed off . Naomi is too stupid to realize and understand that her deal was with the Promoter that he pay her , her Guarantee and that the Promoter owes Naomi the balance on her Guarantee. apparently Naomi is very illiterate and cant read contracts
