Where did all the baby face go? He was okay up until The Family Tree, but then started pumping some iron and looked exactly different all of a sudden. Or maybe just because of the facial hair? I seldom see him clean shaved these days. He looks around 30 by looking at the photos I am seeing over the web.

shareI totally agree with you. The facial hair is awful. People were even commenting on his instagram pic that all of his facial hair is an awful look for him.
You're also right about the muscular look. I guess it's a trend for these young actors. They think the steroid look is hot and will help their career.
In my opinion, it's terrible advice. For actors who have the body type Max has/had, a little working out is attractive, but they go overboard in a major way.
