great replacement for imdb, we need a diverse community

Wow, thank you so much!!!

It's still not IMDb.

Nolan, I love you forever!

No, it certainly is not IMDb. I hope something will be one day, but for now it´s better than nothing and seems quite good right now. Try to find selective boards in terms of what you are interested in as well. The Supernatural tv- show has their own new sites after after FEb 20th, and the same goes for Sherlock etc.

reply

Exactly. People will now go from IMDb boards to the thematic forums on favious of different sites, dedicated to the film, celebs and TV shows they are interested in.

Nolan, I love you forever!

Yes, from unity to being divided, that seems to be the theme these days, but let´s hope that another IMDb will surface soon. What shows do you like?

Did you like La la land?

reply

Honestly, I think it's for the better, from some sides. Of course it's good to have one big general forum for everything, but I found that, at least on celebrities boards, the topics became very generic and typical in latest years. It's either "he/she looks like", or "he/she sucks/rocks", or "I don't like his/her looks", or anything like that. Devided forums by interests are different, they have their own feeling, if you know what I mean.

TV Shows? Well, I like True Detective, Supernatural (the first seasons), Sherlock, National Geographic's Mayday and Mars, Discovery's Through the Wormhole, Masterchef, GENIUS by Stephen Hawking, The X-Files, MythBusters, South Park, Bates Motel, Family Guy, The Simpsons...

I didn't watch La La Land yet, honestly.

Nolan, I love you forever!

I do know what you mean and to some extent I think divided forums by interests can be a good thing as well, but I am really going to miss IMDb as a whole where one can surf through the channels and discuss actors, movies and series simultaneously with different people like this.

I did love the first 2 seasons of supernatural as well and I love Sherlock. Have you seen the fourth season? Have you signed up to the Sherlock forum? May I ask why haven´t you seen La la land yet?

Edit; oh, I really like master chef as well. Masterchef Australia is the best one in my opinion.

nothing will replace its uniqueness, hopefully when imdb traffic plummets they create new boards
