Why do people like Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, etc?

There are so many young actresses their age who have as much if not more talent than they do. And these girls seem to just be big partyers and drug users and bimbos and stuck-ups and like to sleep around just like all the rest even though they're marketed as being cool or "normal".

Yet people fall all over themselves and claim that these girls are so "cool" or "normal" or that they're "different from the others in Hollywood" when all those things are false. I'll bet money they did their share of sleeping around on casting couches with people just for extra roles and money and fame.

Just curious, that's all.

because they're not the stereotypical bimbos who seem to have been popular in Hollywood for so long.
JLaw, Emma, and Shai represent a new generation of actresses who are down to earth, normal, relatable, at times a little awkward which only makes them more charming, never take themselves too seriously, and have a girl next door quality.

Because they're down to earth people. Although I still have doubts on JLaw. I think she's putting on an act.

If Jennifer Lawrence is putting on an act she is even a better actress than what she is recognised for.

Because they are beautiful without being fake top model beautiful. The three of them are also great actresses. A bit like the mythical Meryl Streep.
