She'll make a wonderful Mary Poppins!
Not sure if I'm in the minority, and obviously no one can touch Julie Andrews, but I do believe Emily Blunt will be a great Mary Poppins. We already know she can sing from Into the Woods!

shareShe hasn't been cast yet in the role. She's in the film but not confirmed for the role. Though it would be a horrible idea if she was. In fact, this film is completely unnecessary.
shareThey don't even have a finished script yet. You might be surprised. I think it'll be good!
shareIt has a crappy director. That won't help anything.
shareNow this point I agree with. Rob's last films have all been meh as far as directing goes. Nothing that pops out, no life or anything.
sharePeople criticize the direction in Tom Hooper's Les Mis but at least it had life towards it.
shareShe has been officially cast when they officially announced the film
shareNobody should doubt the movie until the trailer comes out at least. They don't even have a finished script yet. Maybe we should wait and see. You can't judge a book until you read it, the same way you can't judge a movie until you at least see the trailer.
sharePops out!!
