She is turning into the female version of Samuel L Jackson

With the high number of roles she is choosing, specially on movies that are clearly not great. She is not doing a good job with picking her roles. Don't see her getting nominated for an Oscar any time soon if she keeps at it.

Mary Poppins. She will get at least an Oscar nom for that.

Which films weren't good, in your opinion?

reply

Edge of Tomorrow wasn't a box office smash, BUT it had excellent reviews and was a surprisingly great action film.

Sicario was a shocking, gritty and powerful cop movie that was well reviewed also.

She's only done those 2 "action" films as of now. Sicario was more of a drama you could say. Sure the Huntsman sequel looks crap but it could be fun

Samuel L Jackson is considered one of the most gifted, much sought after actor in Hollywood (I base this on my readings of the literature out there).

He has brought in more money to Hollywood than any other actor in the entire world.

The only difference I see is that Emily is much, much more beautiful!

And he has many lead roles.

So, I don't get the problem?

He may be referring to Huntsman

Noway, we can call Rose Byrne the female Sam Jackson because she literally is in EVERYTHING from horror, Seth Rogan Comedies, yikes you name it.

Emily is awesome, I love her with all my heart. I love seeing her in everything she is doing... yeah she's done a crap comedy here or there, but she's evolved a lot as an actress... as for Liz I've just lost a lot of respect for her after movies like Spy, Neighbors, and so forth...
