I'm kind of excited to see the series continued. I think they did a good job of choosing someone who favors Julie Andrews, and the girl can SING! I also think it's good that she's not going to be an exact replica, but be able to put her own stamp on the role. I haven't been able to get copies of the books, so I hope Disney does them justice (not holding my breath, but you never know).

I love Julie Andrews and the original film, so why can't there be a sequel and a new actress's interpretation? Emily Blunt is amazing, and she can definitely put her own spin on the role without copying Julie because she is a spectacular actress too!
This is the only 'reboot' (I know it is a sequel but you get what I mean) that I am excited about because it is in safe hands with a practically perfect leading lady and more than qualified director at the helm.
