jonah hill. anyone else get that feeling?

Yup, when I saw 21 all I could think was "Who is this guy doing a bad Jonah Hill impression?"

Kevin Smith will one day egg Greasy Reese Witherspoons house

He also resembles a poor man's Jack Black and a poor man's Jeorge Garcia.

"That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?"

Way better for that role than Jonah Hill would have been. I do like Jonah Hill, but I was seriously impressed by Josh Gad in 21.

reply

Wow, the whole time I was watching 21, I thought I was watching Jonah Hill impersonator and a younger Jake Gyllenhall.

He was great. He looked like he belonged in a Judd Apatow movie and there was a jonah hill quality but I doubt he was copying him. He was a stand-out....

This kid reminds me of Phillip Seymour Hoffman for some reason, I loved him in 21 and will go see anything he is from now on. Its not too often I see one movie and fall in love with an actor, but he is a breath of fresh air.

I hope i get to work with him one day in the future as I am hoping to become an actor after graduating next year (Oswego, NY).

I absolutely thought of Jonah Hill every time this guy was on screen in 21. At first I thought "poor man's Jonah Hill" and it annoyed me a bit but he quickly won me over. I also get the Jack Black similarity, but not as much. And none with Jorge Garcia.

I wonder if the Jonah similarities just come down to him being chubby, curly-haired and a comedy guy.
