Physique / Workout Routine!??

First of, let me start by saying I am straight (lol). I think Justin has a great physique (in a way, that I would like to have one similar to it, someday).

Anyway, now to the point. I work out 6 times a week, 2 hours approx, a day. And I am totally dedicated in keeping myself in shape.. Now is anyone here, interested in Bodybuilding (not mass building but good lean, Justin like physique building?). I am not very new to this, but still I would like to know, what kind of Physique Stats does Justin have (Chest / Biceps / Height / Weight) etc, and what sort of routine to follow in order to get that sort of a physique!

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question to ask here..

the best advice to get in good shape is hit the gym, you have to aleast 3 to 4 times a week...learn dicipline. Belive me its like a guy whos trying to quite smoking...no one ever quits smoking on the first try...not even the second.

You have to be regular..if you fail dont be discouraged but come back and try again....THE MAIN THING IS ROUTINE AND DISCPLINE, AFTER THAT YOU CAN WORRY ABOUT MUSCLE TONING AND THE DEATILS>>>

Also contrast any muscle building with cardio excercises...go for a jog, hit the crosstrainers ect. Also its better to do weighs first then burn of fat with a jog. Avoid jogging first.

most of my life i was a chubby guy, and its taken years to see improvement, not because its not poossible to have done it quickly, but because discipline is tough. I know alot of exercises and deatils on how muscles growth works, how to strengh train and endurance train...i never wanted to be a body builder but to be a good looking regular sized guy. So i cant give you any more details but join a regular gym and make a regular effort to go there.

Have seen several interviews and the guys on Smallville and Supernatural share a gym- weights, cardio and lots of kickboxing/martial arts go into the package. Strength training tempered with the flexibility moves of martial arts produce the cut lean muscles. Remember Jean Claude Van Damme at his peak? Cut beyond belief thanks to kickboxing.
Justin had some time working on the hard body while at Passions- every guy on that show is shirtless about half the time- requires lots of gym time and a low fat diet!

It comes down to 3 things

1. Genetics
2. Diet
3. Exercise

When trying to get a lean tone with definition etc. you need to make sure you are eating the right foods. fish and chicken is a must. do NOT stop eating carbs however have them for breakfast such as fruit and make sure you add a very lean protein to it. I use a protein powder, 1/2 cup of hot cereal or whole grain oatmeal and 1 cup of skim milk and a piece of fruit. For lunch lower your carbs drastically and for supper no carbs and a very light meal.

As for exercise - crunches, treadmill, hiking, pushups, medium weights (don't weigh them down). everything is about lighter weights and more reps. not heavy weights and less reps. mostly make sure you do cardio exericises.

take up yoga - it's great mentally and it stretches you out.

and lastly,

unfortunately it's alot about genetics - if you don't have the body type you just don't. sorry to say but it's true.

i'm a mid western guy with meat on his body I weight about 190lbs and about 5'11 when I was working my hardest and not drinking liquor and working out 4 days a week and dancing all night long on Friday and Saturday nights I got down to 170lb with abs etc... but it was hard to stay there. so it's important to (even if you're not gay) to look at other guys body types in fitness mags etc and see which one you resemble most and strive for that.

hope this helps you out!

Genetics? It helps, but does not play a major role in keeping you fit.

I think you are getting willpower confused.
