I think he should go for the part. I know he is older than 24 but the real 24 year old actors are playing 17-18 year olds so I think he would be just perfect.

shareHECK YES!! He was Finnick in my head when I read Catching Fire, if only because he play Aquaman. Plus he really, really does fit the description-Golden hair, tall, incredibly good looking and a muscular body! Wootwoot!
I was embarrassed to picture him in just a gathered fishing net in the chariot scene. (And that was my second time reading. I think the first time I just ignored that and for some reason kept picturing him in Green Arrow gear the whole time.) Omigosh! 0_o I think I almost fell out of my bed picturing him like that.
Yeah, I'm completely rooting for him as Finnick. Plus all the other actors people suggest I've never even heard of. (Except I don't keep up with actors and stuff unless I come across someone I really like.) Too bad there's no way to suggest it to the casting director, but maybe word of mouth will spread if the supporters are loud enough. :) Well, spread the word everybody!
I actually went back and forth between him and Michael Cassidy (who played Grant Gabriel/Julian Luthor on season 7 of Smallville). Either one would be perfect.

OMG!!!! I was just having this discussion with my sister the other day and we both agreed that he would be PERFECT for this part. I hope someone reaches out to him so he can audition/be considered. I can't picture Finnick as anyone else.
