Yes, he had issues. But I liked his character more than Rick. Just as I liked Andrea more than Lori. The writers should have gotten rid of Glenn and Beth.

I liked Shane too, but didn't like obsessed he was with Lori.
shareWatching over from Season 1 again because I miss Shane haha.
That and I fell behind on Season 1 and yet caught every 5 episodes for all seasons since. I even saw the premiere of Season 7.
Shane has been the greatest thing on TWD so far, but honesty because they killed him off at the perfect moment. He just had the best development any character has gotten on that show.
shareGlenn? No! Beth I kept joking about dying because she wanted to and I did not like her and Andrea's suicidal ways. But I did find both their deaths very sad. Glenn is awesome. Shane had to die, though I miss him too. His part in the book series was much much shorter. Like he died the first week after Rick got back, didn't even make it to the farm or shave his head, kill Otis or anything. Shane in the show is way better than the book.
