Question for Londoners re location in Sherlock S4 (spoilers)

Okay, this is a two part post.

First off, for those of you who haven't been to London, the brother and sister riverside bench scene takes place on South Bank, a glorious walkway down the side of the Thames, dotted with all sorts of cultural spots, like the National Theatre, Museum of Moving Images, Royal festival Hall, London Eye, Dali Museum, and the London Aquarium. The fact that Sherlock goes there, so close to the London Aquarium (where Mary dies) the first time he goes outside in months and months is important to know. They do show a floating -ish image of the London Aquarium but people who haven't been there would think it's something playing on his mind, not realising he is in fact looking in the direction of London Aquarium (plus the South Bank is curved so they cd not hv done a pan to show he was close by, without breaking the budget). South Bank looks like this, with him close to, I'm guessing, Blackfriars Bridge or the Tate Modern,

Secondly, to posters here who are familiar with London, I've only seen 04x02 once or twice, and I cant pinpoint where he is, other than maybe near Blackfriars - could you please illuminate us? Ta :D
