The Movie DB is similar to IMDb in several ways

I've just registered at The Movie DB and found both the Sherlock and Poldark boards. They are not as active as our are, yet there is room for a lot of new joiners. There style is more similar to this one in that it is easy to see the threads, to add emoticons, to do some formatting, etc.

It is a smaller group because IMDb has been the world dominator in terms of ease, convenience, etc. There are evidently over 10 movies and TV shows. I've not spent much time investigating, so perhaps others can provide more information.
