SELL OUT!

This dude was hailed as the next deniro/ pacino and sold out to the blockbuster movies and the worst part stupid little supporting roles

Who knows, maybe all Al Pacino wanted was to become the next Superman? I like that Oscar Isaac seems genuinely thrilled to find himself in those big franchises and able to connect with his inner fan.

Also: was hailed? How (fast) these things come to pass. I mean :

A Most Violent Year (2014) Lead.
Ex Machina (2015) Co-lead or supporting, but a great performance anyway.
Show Me a Hero (2015). Didn't he get a little something for that? A Golden Globe? Lead.
Mojave (2016) -> didn't see it, know it's supposed to be, ahem, not good, but still something with ambition, not a blockbuster nor a stupid little supporting role.
The Promise (2016) (hope this one is good) Lead? Co-lead?
Suburbicon (2017) Coen Brothers + George Clooney, don't know the size of his role in that but I'm interested to see the result anyway.
Annihilation (2017) I CAN'T WAIT, mainly because it feels like such a challenge to adapt the book and I trust Alex Garland to come with something good. Don't care that Oscar's not he lead lead in that, the husband's still an interesting role, I don't doubt he'll do great with it.

And the other things he does, the short films and that music video, they're great. They show a true interest for acting and sharing projects with friends beyond the wish to further his career.
That Trentemoller video is the first music vid where I've been captivated by the storytelling and the acting.

Seriously, it's a pleasure to become an Oscar Isaac fan because his filmography is so rich there's always something more to watch.

^^This. I'm a recent fan and I can't wait to see what he does next! Don't forget he's also a great singer & musician!

He's an actor, he gets paid to play characters on screen. What's the problem? Just let the man work.

When there's no more room on the internet, the dumb will walk the earth.

Please. If Superhero movies were as big then as they are now we probably would have seen De Niro play Batman and Pacino play Superman.

Come at the king, you best not miss.
