What are they gonna call themselves when someone informs them that "chick" is a derogatory term towards women? The Blank Blanks?

reply

Gee perhaps they should think about this name change thing a little further then

reply

It's like what would happen to Guns N' Roses when "gun" becomes even more offensive to Lefty sheeple and the band changes their name to N' Roses or Handshakes 'n' Roses.

reply

Just stupid and unnecessary pandering. And "The Chicks" sounds just plain awful. The least they could've done was pick a better name.

reply

They might release a single for people to buy. A tour will be at least 2 years from now with the virus stuff going on.

reply

Country music in general is very White-centric so I don't see the point of them pretending not be White-centric with this silly name change. Then again, states like Texas have a lot of Confederate flag lovers which is ironic since Texans in general profess a strong sense of State Pride so why would they associate with a lost cause that their state hardly contributed to during the civil war. It's just like out here in California where a lot of confederate losers migrated to after reconstruction but maintained their ties to the South.

I can tell you're a blissfully ignorant snarky liberal.

American soldiers, Marines and sailors flew the Confederate battle flag over Europe while defeating Nationalist Socialist (NAZIS) in Europe and in the Pacific while killing Japanese Soldiers during WWll.

The Confederate flag flew over the battlefields during the Korean War and the North Korean and Chi-Com soldiers feared the Confederate battle flag and "yellow legs" too.

During the Vietnam War both the VC and NVA feared the Confederate battle flag. It to flew all over South Vietnam by American soldiers and Marines.

Iraqi, Al Qaeda, Islamist jihadist and the Taliban also fear the Confederate battle flag

America's enemies have feared the Confederate battle flag since 1865 and even today America's enemies fear that old battle flag.

Commies, Marxist, Maoist, ANTIFA, internationalist socialist, Black Lives Matters...all of America's enemies today fear the Confederate battle flag..

reply

Wow, you have a very creative imagination based on personal opinion and not facts. It's no wonder you clutch to a dead dream that was the Confederacy!
