really talented actress..anyone else as impressed with her work on PLL?

To begin, this post is serious. While I most certainly believe Pretty Little Liars took a turn for the worse around season 3, the first season (and most of the second season) were truly great. I would call the first two seasons as some of the best that television had to offer at the time.

What I distinctly remember from those first few seasons was the strength of Sasha Pieterse's acting. Two scenes in particular that I consider award-worthy:

Watching these clips again really make me miss the old PLL. The tone, the structure of the scenes, everything is so different, and so much better. Nothing feels rushed. These scenes are important because they are focused on allowing the characters to grow, and Sasha is simply incredible in both scenes.

The first one is unforgettable. Sasha's eyes communicate the harrowing reality of Alison's ordeal, one that the audience feels before knowing what it is. Her delivery of 'It won't make any difference darling' and 'I was so scared you were gonna die' are just astounding. Her voice, her expression, everything.

In the second scene Alison is a bully, of course, but she owns the scene. You can see in her demeanor that she knows she controls Hanna--at least until this scene.

Sadly, Sasha just does not act as well in the later seasons. Her delivery and expression are both forced, but what incredible work from an actress as young as her at the time. Thoughts? Haters and trolls will be ignored. Share your honest opinions, and why.

The world looks to Sweden. 

I couldn't agree more.
I've always thought Sasha was brilliant in the first few seasons, especially as she was only 13/14 and alot younger than those she's working with!
It's a shame the writers don't seem to know what to do with her in the later seasons, as it doesn't really give her a time to shine like she used to.
